We headed to Wolstanton Retail Park to see what was available in Asda, B&M and Matalan - Marks and Spencer doesn't sell costumes - with just a few days to spare before the big day. Asda Adapt a PE or sports kit, or their school uniform - think Football Academy for sports kit, Harry Potter and St Trinian's for the uniform. There was a small stand of costumes near the entrance in Asda, although most of these seemed to be sized age 5 to 6 and some of them didn't quite hit the mark for World Book Day.
